You can have the most compelling content and polished visuals, but if the core frequency you’re emitting—your own inner alignment and joy in the work—isn’t clear, the message can feel muffled. Your clients don't just consume your services; they feel your energetic signature. When you feel depleted or resistant despite outward success, it's often a sign that your actions are out of tune with your authentic frequency.

3 Steps to Tune Your Inner Frequency

  1. Conduct an Energy Audit:

    • What specific tasks and interactions leave you feeling energized and expanded?

    • Conversely, what parts of your workday feel draining or heavy?

    • Be brutally honest. Awareness is the first step to realigning your daily operations with what truly fuels you, not what you think you should be doing.

  1. Identify Your Zone of Genius:

    • In his book The Big Leap, Gay Hendricks defines our Zone of Genius as the work we are uniquely gifted at and that fills us with passion.

    • What is this for you? Is it one-on-one client work? High-level creative vision? Speaking?

    • Your business thrives when you spend the majority of your time here, delegating or automating the rest.

  1. Calibrate Your Brand's Expression:

    • Once you're clear on your genius and your energy sources, look at your brand's external presence.

    • Does your messaging reflect this core energy? Is your client experience designed to protect your flow?

    • Aligning your brand's outer expression with your inner frequency ensures the work feels less like a drain and more like an abundant, natural extension of you.

Consider a client of mine, a brilliant wellness practitioner. Her business was growing, but she was burning out on administrative tasks and marketing content she felt obligated to create. Her energy was drained. By conducting an audit, she realized her Zone of Genius was in live workshops. We restructured her offerings to focus on these high-energy events and delegated the draining tasks. The result? Her income grew, but more importantly, her joy returned, and her brand became even more magnetic to clients seeking her authentic energy.
